SANDY CAY AND SANDY SPIT, BVI

Sandy Cay and Sandy Spit are both within five minutes from Jost Van Dyke. Sandy Spit is a perfect spot for a quick dip and taking a walk around the secluded ½ acre island. With the appearance of the classic paradise island, most people call it the “Corona Island”, as it has been used for many commercials and photo shoots. At nearly 14 acres, Sandy Cay was at one point owned by the Lawrence Rockefeller Estate, but is now a part of the Virgin Islands National Park Trust, keeping it beautiful. With a small hiking trail, maintained by the Park, Sandy Cay is sure not to disappoint.
